The Heretic Christian
Marjorie Kempe, self-proclaimed visionary and a married woman with many children, was a rather infamous street preacher, considered more as being nutty as a walnut tree people than a Divinely-inspired revealer of God's Will. In 1413, she visited the very renowned and highly respected mystic and visionary Julian of Norwich in her cell (she was an anchoress, meaning she lived a life of prayer locked into in a single cell—room—built into a wall of a church) to ask if her visions were genuine.
...................
Julian, often consulted on spiritual matters through her one window to the outside as anchorites were known and expected to do, confirmed that Kempe's visions and her apparently continuous stream of tears were of Divine origin. But she also gave Kempe this advice:
"...measure these experiences according to the worship they accrue to God and the profit to your fellow Christians..."
When you feel called, when reading books and church and rote prayers are just not enough, when you long for Him, to be with Him, or if you've had an extraordinary experience and you found no one else seems to understand, possibly including you, yourself, I am reaching out to you, so that the Elect can find and support each other.
I never shared much about my own experiences. I just thought it was all personal. But now, having read what Julian said, maybe I'm wrong or maybe it's time, because the God that loves us knows right now, we need the True Gospel.
I'll share my experiences and others' and tell you what the most recognized mystics have revealed again and again over 2000 years. What I know is:
~We have God in us, as we are in God.
~All will be saved and oned with God.
~Contemplation is the highest form of prayer and you don't have to be anything special do practice it.
~The miracles in the New Testament never stopped, today is the same as then and tomorrow.
~Jesus is with us all to the end -- to Parousia.
It's time, in this day of international insta-communication and worldwide tribulation to spread the good news to all people, as Jesus said. This podcast is for the called, the Elect—anyone who longs to be oned with the Absolute—the unfathomable Love and Light that we call God.
EPISODES
The Heretic Christian
2.5 Addendum for 2 or Prequel for 3
(They wouldn't let me make it episode 2.5 in the list, so just go with the title.)
Before embarking on a practice of contemplative prayer, there are three things you should know:
1. What dryness is.
2. What spiritual jealousy is.
3. Why might consolations can vary widely.
Kyrie, who likes chatting better than podcasting as she is no professional talker of things recorded as is obvious from the clinking of the spoon in the teacup, presents this shortish Bonuscast before Episode 3, the Contemplation Primer.
Or whatever she might decide to call it when she actually records it, during which she stops talking about herself in 3rd person.
This pocast is not monetized.
